Ram Gopal Verma's 'Shiva' was earlier planned to come on a week immediately after Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna' i.e. on August 18th. When this didn't work out, the latest publicity material screamed August 25th as the new release date. In fact all television promos too highlighted this as the D day while hoardings all over the town too had 25th August written all over them.

So what went wrong? Why didn't the film arrive on any of these new days and there are no signs of a new date? We quizzed Nisha Kothari, the leading lady of 'Shiva' about the same and this is what she had to say about the delay - "Ramuji wants to promote Shiva more!" Short and simple!

Well, that seems to be quite understandable because August 18th any ways seemed to be a hurried announcement and August 25th too wasn't the most lucrative of days because of an expected long run of KANK. Meanwhile 'Shiva' has started creating some buzz about it as days have progressed since its hard hitting promos have made an impact.

As per the latest developments, the film is tentatively planned for a September 15th release date.
