Going by the examples set by leading actress Mamtha Mohandas, more and more stars are coming up to lend their voices to film songs. The latest to start her crooning career is the beautiful Ramya Nambeesan, who has sung for the movie ‘Ivan Megharoopan’ under the directions of musician Sharath.

The chance for the singing career happened for the actress, when she revealed her desire to sing playback for a film in a recent interview. She also let everyone know that she had been learning Carnatic vocal singing from her childhood. Music composer Sharath, who happened to read the article invited Ramya to sing for his new movie ‘Ivan Megharoopan’. Ramya has sang the song “Aande Loonde” penned by Kavalam Narayana Panikkar for the movie.
