Actress Nayanatara's, born Diana Mariam Kurian as a Christian, conversion to Hinduism has become the talk of the town. Even as reports of her conversion at an Arya Samaj temple in Chennai on the last Sunday poured in, talks about her wedding with Prabhu Deva in some days have only gained currency.
The actress has neither confirmed nor denied her religious conversion, said to have been performed by the priests at the world-famous Hindu organisation, but media have quoted that it was her personal conviction to become a Hindu.
Meanwhile, her choice has been criticised by some Christian organisations who view her conversion as unnecessary.
Rumours are also agog that once Prabhu Deva and Nayan get married, they might consider shifting their base to another country.
