While director Siva is ready with his complete family entertainer 'Veeram', the film's producer Venkatarama Reddy has stepped forward to open up on the grandeur of the Pongal treat. To begin with, 'Veeram' is by far the biggest film for Ajith, gunning at more number of prints than any of his previous films.

The film is Ottanchathiram based and the team has erected a set of the small town, near Odisha on a space of about 100 acres. A duet featuring Ajith, Tamannah and 500 dancers, another where Ajith danced in rain despite running high fever, two songs in Switzerland, the famed train fight sequence on Odisha-Andhra Pradesh border, canned by four cameras - everything about 'Veeram' has been opulent and dedicated. Hitting the screens this January 10th as Pongal treat, 'Veeram' is certainly one of the biggest films for Ajith. How many prints in all? A whooping 1800!
