The producer has one more reason to be happy since he bought the rights to remake the yesteryear Rajnikanth's classic 'Moondru Mugam'.

The movie has redefined the term 'Mass' and took Rajini to greater heights. Though the producer has bagged the rights to remake the movie, he hasn't zeroed on the director/actor. The buzz is, the role of 'Alex Pandian' might go to either Vijay or Ajith. With 'Billa' Ajith has already proven that he is a successful candidate for the remakes of Rajni movies and even Rajni has suggested his name to Shankar for 'Enthiran' sequel. On the other hand, Vijay has openly admitted to star in any of Rajni's classics since he is a big fan of him. Kathiresan is thinking of signing Karthi too to reprise the original 'Alex Pandian' role.
