Actor-director Cheran's Thavamai Thavamirundu will grace the theaters all over the State on Saturday. The movie, directed and acted by Cheran, marks the Tamil debut venture of Malayalam girl Padmapriya.

Apparently relieved at the release of the movie, Cheran says, with all legal hurdles being cleared, Thavamai Thavamirundu is all set for release this Saturday. All troubles between the distributor and the producer have been sorted. ‘The movie would be there for the audience to relish'.

The shooting for the Thavamai Thavamirundu commenced almost a year ago. It faced several hardships including a change of producer and some legal cases being filed against the movie by distributors.

The good news from Cheran's camp is that the film has come out really well and will have his unique treatment where he brings out soft feelings in human beings in rural ambience.

It is a style that Cheran has made almost his.
