A lot was expected from Priyamani (introduced by Bharathiraja in Kangalal Kaidhu Sei). Especially after an excellent portrayal in Adhu Oru Kanaa Kaalam, film buffs predicted her to become a top-notch actress here.

She is currently acting in Madhu and Paruthy Veeran.

Priyamani, says, I am hopeful of turning things around this year.'

The good news is her movie Madhu starring Githan Ramesh opposite her, is nearing completion.

Thennarasu has directed this romantic entertainer.

Says the director, 'it is a movie for youths. It celebrates the spirit of romance. After Azhagi, it would be my Madhu, which would look back at the love between a couple in a decent and interesting way'.
