Comedian has the last laugh

The battle of stars at Mylapore Assembly constituency was interesting fare this elections. Noted comedian S Ve Shekher was pitted against DMK's star campaigner and popular hero Nepolean. Poll pundits predicted a cake-walk for Nepolean.

However against all expectations, Shekher managed to topple Nepolean by a huge margin of over 2,100 votes.

S Ve Shekher expressing happiness at his victory said 'I am happy with the people's support for my candidature here'.

However the actor also expressed his disappointment at his party losing the polls to DPA led by DMK.

The comedian has, however, proved a point by having the last laugh.
