Former State Assembly Speaker and a senior AIADMK leader K Kalimuthu has a penchant for Tamil and has written several books and poems. Now he has trying his hand at penning lyrics for a song in a Tamil movie.

On director Mahendran's request, Kalimuthu has penned a song for his film Sasanam being sponsored by National Film Development Corporation (NFDC).

Kalimuthu has written a song - Puthiya Kaalai Unadhu Vaazhvil Vidigirathe and has been set to tunes by Balabharathy. Chitra, Sriram and Sathyanarayana have rendered their voice for the song.

Mahendran is happy that the song has come really good.

Sasanam features Arvindhsamy, Gowthami and Ranjitha in lead roles and Mahendran is wielding the megaphone after a long time.
