Saran as a director has been part of several blockbusters. He eventually also took up production.

But his spirit of adventure is looking for more.

For his next directorial venture Vattaram, which is also produced by him, Saran has tried his hands at penning a song.

Saran has written the lyrics for a pathos number 'Yaar Tharuvar' in the movie. This song appears in a few places in the movie.

Saran has a passion for Tamil since his college days. Having worked with lyricist Vairamuthu for over 11 films, he has obviously developed a passion for penning songs.

Vattaram features Arya, Delhi girl Keerat, newcomer Adhisaya and Nepolean in the lead roles.

Music is by Bharadwaj.

Vattaram will hit the screens this Deepavali.
