With just 48 hours left for D-day, seven prominent movies are ready to hit the screen. It is a treat for film-buffs this time with the likes of Vijayakanth, Sarath Kumar, Silambarasan, Ajith and Arjun fighting the contest for supremacy at the box-office.

Let's check out what the stars say about their movies:

Speaking on his 100th film Thalaimagan, Sarathkumar, says, 'You will find the cerebral ways of a journalist in negotiating difficult moments at every turn. It should be a cracker of an offering for my fans. Combing both direction and acting was a pleasant experience'.

Arjun, on his Vathiyar, said, 'Vathiyar is a mentor. A taut screenplay and smart stunts are its significant aspects. Vathiyar will give the right messages. The story will highlight issues close to the common public. This Vathiyar will teach the right lessons’.

Perarasu, who has directed Dharmapuri starring Vijayakanth, says, 'It's about a society conscious individual, waging a lone battle against the ills and evils. We are hoping to score in the narration which should sustain the audience interest'.

Ajith, on his Varalaru, said, 'The story is unique and fresh. The novelty factor will mitigate the delay in its release. Working with a commercial director like Ravikumar lifts your motivation level. After all the hard work, we are waiting for the right results.'

Arya, on Vattaram, said, 'It is a movie wherein action and romance find a right place. Saran is a talented director who gets the best out of every artiste. I am confident that Vattaram would go on to garner glory'.
