Director Shankar is off to Canada with his family. His Sivaji starring Rajnikanth is all set for a release on 15 June.

One of the big-budgeted movies, Sivaji has been witnessing a lot of hype and expectations. Shankar had stated recently that Sivaji is a movie to reckon with in his career.

With the who's who of Tamil cinema including Shankar, Rajnikanth, AVM and Rahman coming together, Sivaji is touted to be the biggest release in Tamil cinema ever.

After his hectic schedule in Sivaji, Shankar has left for Canada on Wednesday with his family. The ace - director will return after the release of Sivaji.
