Finally the much-anticipated Vikram-Shriya starrer movie, ‘Kanthaswamy’ is going to hit the screens this Friday! Releasing this 21, ‘Kanthaswamy’ is going to be screened in 18 theatres in the city while it will be shown in around 900 theatres worldwide.

It is said that, on Sunday alone the booking in Chennai crosses over 95 lakhs 22 thousand 498! This is for 1 lakh 46 thousand 976 tickets. Thus, being one of the movie with biggest opening ever!

An overjoyed Chennai distributor and the President of Chennai Theatre Owner Association Abirami Ramanathan said "This proves that the people have already accept ‘Kanthaswamy’ as a biggest movie"

When our IndiaGlitz reporter asked an opinion about this opening to the producer, he proudly said that he will be happier once the movie releases. He has ensured that the movie, besides enjoying a grand status, carries an important social message. Since Thanu is famous for promoting his movies on large scale, he added to say that ‘Kanthaswamy’s promotion too will be an amazing affair.
