Earlier ‘Yogi’ was sure to be bought by Kalaignar TV, though the channel did not buy the movie, it was almost confirmed that ‘Yogi’ was for the channel. The audio launch of the movie was also telecasted live on it. But out of the blue, things turned topsy-turvy.

We don’t have a clue as to how the film slipped into the hands of Sun TV. Everyone in the industry is actually surprised about this sudden twist in the track.

But according to our sources, it’s learnt that the film went on to the hands of Sun TV as one of the close friends of Ameer advised him to do so. The friend advised Ameer by saying that “Yogi is a good film and you have a first-class opening as a hero also. So, don’t throw away this good chance. Give this movie to a firm that gives the best promotion”.

And the CEO of Sun network Hansraj Saxena openly stated that Sun TV will acquire the rights of ‘Yogi’, during the film’s audio launch function. He also stated that the firm is holding discussions about getting ‘Aadukalam’ and ‘Kutty’. Hmmm… we wonder who will be that close buddy.
