In her second Hindi project 'Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji', Shruti Hassan is paired up with Bollywood’s serial kisser Emraan Hashmi.

Right through his career, Emraan's character has come across as someone who is far more headstrong than his leading ladies and takes the lead in his relationships when it comes to his women. In this context, a character as played by Shruti which is spunky and pretty much reflects the persona of today's girl must have come in handy for Emraan.

"That's right, it was great to have a co-star who is a go-getter in real as well as reel life," agrees Emraan, "Even in the film, she is shown as someone who knows what she wants. She is uninhibited when it comes to expressing her likings."

In any case, a leading lady in a Madhur Bhandarkar film is always known for a mind of her own and Shruti is expected to be no different once she is seen in this romcom affair.

"When there is an actor like Shruti performing next to you, it reminds you of the time when you had started off as an actor years back," says Emraan, "There is this raw energy that comes in which is pretty infectious."

Also starring Ajay Devgn, Omi Vaidya, Shazahn Padmsee and Shraddha Das, 'Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji' releases all over on 28th January.
