There were some reports earlier that anirudh had replaced Harris for the movie Irandam Ulagam and certain sections of media goofed up some irrelevant information as well. The same kind of rumours broke when media went claiming about Gautam V Menon and Harris rift. This further escalated the tensions between.

However Harris has come out and claimed openly that he is unable to compose the BGM for Irandam Ulagam as he is burdened with many more projects and considering IU has a release date on Diwali, it will be a tough ask. This is a nice gesture of honesty indeed! So all you music lovers get ready for a dose of Harris and Anirudh in IU.
