Writer Anil Ravipudi has donned the director's hat for the first time for the movie, 'Pataas'. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is the lead actor and he also produced the film on NTR Arts banner. Shruti Sodhi is the heroine in this film.

Kalyan Ram said, "The shooting of 'Pataas', which is a romantic action entertainer, has been completed. This film is a mass entertainer with all the commercial elements. Sai Karthik gave an outstanding music score. We are planning to release the audio in the first week of December and the movie in the same month".

Sai Kumar, Brahmanandam, Ashutosh Rana, M.S.Narayana Reddy, Srinivasa Reddy, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Posani Krishna Murali etc acted in the movie. Sarvesh Murari is the cinematographer.
