Brahmotsavam, an auspicious title in itself, is currently being shot in Varanasi. The film's unit, mainly Mahesh Babu and Samantha, are in Varanasi. This schedule will see some scenes being shot on the lead pair, along with others. After this schedule, some portions will be shot in Delhi, and Dehradun.

The release date of Brahmotsavam has been decided to be May 6, putting aside the rumors that it will release only on May 31.

Recently, the overseas theatrical rights of Mahesh Babu's family entertainer were sold for an astronomical amount. Classic Entertainments clinched the deal for an amount of Rs. 13 cr.

Produced on an ambitious scale by PVP Cinemas, the family entertainer has a huge ensemble cast.
