Nandamuri Balakrishna has completed a journey of 40 years yesterday (30.08.14). In this journey, he has acted in many memorable films.

Talking about his journey, Balakrishna said that he couldn't believe it's been 40 years he came infront of camera for the first time. He said that he didn't get specially trained in acting and he learnt everything watching his father's films. "My father inspired me a lot, both with his versatility in acting and with his disciplined living", Balakrishna said.

Balakrishna's 100th film is around the corner and about it he says, " I don't plan anything. I will do what I want to at that moment. Regarding my 100th film, everyone it discussing about it. I'm not thinking about it yet". Answering a question if he had approached any director to direct his 100th film, he says, "I never ask any director to make a film with me. If any director and producer approaches me and everything falls into place, we do a film"

There are also a lot of expectations on Balayya's son Mokshagna's entry into films. "Mokshagna has a lot of interest on films. He will definitely make his entry into the industry. But there is a time of at least two to three years for it. I have plenty of hopes on him".
