With back to back hits, Rakul Preet Singh has made a mark in Tollywood and with her beauty and acting skills, she has garnered a huge fanbase, especially among the youth.
A rumour has made rounds recently that she has been finalized as the heroine in Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh 2' and many have thought it is true. But the team of 'Gabbar Singh 2' has recently released a press note, confirming Anisha Ambrose as the heroine. With this official confirmation, the fans of Rakul are a little bit disappointed.
Rakul Preet Singh is currently acting in 'Pandaga Chesko', 'Rough' and 'Kick 2'. She is acting as Hema Malini's daughter in 'Shimla Mirchi', directed by legendary director Ramesh Sippy of 'Sholay' fame.
The regular shooting of 'Gabbar Singh 2' will start in December and it will be directed by 'Power' fame K.S.Ravindra (Bobby).
