Poonam Pandey-starrer Malini and Co, directed by Veeru K, will release on August 14. The action thriller marks the debut of the hot actress in the Telugu film industry. The film is set in the backdrop of international terror plot and touches on some pressing global issues. Actor Samrat will be seen as a Chemical Engineer in the film.

The film has some interesting romantic scenes between Samrat and Poonam, and the makers exude confidence that those scenes have come out well.
