The nightmarish experience that Tollywood has been having for more than a month owing to the T-turmoil in the state would have been expected to finally die come Sankranthi fest, when it was expected to see the biggest clutter of releases. Seems that not all is well yet.

With the trouble in the three regions of the state not yet resembling normalcy and films like Adurs still expected to face a boycott in the Telangana region, the question some of them are asking is, "are Tollywood's prospects still bleak?" It seems most likely because, if there is no relaxation of the boycott call on the films of NTR, the recent incident involving Rana in Singareni is sure to raise some more doubts.

Of the five releases slated in a span of 3-4 days in the next week, Adurs, Namo Venkatesa and Shambo Shiva Shambo are not only big ticket releases, but also have big stakes running on them. It is doubtful whether the films have got the prices they would have got in a normal situation.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that some producers are making special requests to the commissioner to ensure security for their films.
