Tamil superstar Vijay and Anushka Shetty starrer Tamil film 'Vettaikaran' is releasing as 'Puliveta' in Telugu on the 24th of this month.

The film will mark the debut of Vijay into Telugu market. Though the other Tamil stars like Suriya, Vikram and Karthi have been releasing their films in Telugu for long time now, Vijay has for some reasons stayed away from dubbing his movies into Telugu. Part of the reason is also because most of his Tamil films are remakes of Telugu hits.

But now he seems to have decided to expand his market into Andhra too and hence is releasing his film in Telugu.

Puliveta, directed by Babu Shivan has Vijay Anthony as the music director. This flick is releasing statewide with 300 prints. It completed its censor this week and the final copy of the movie is ready.M V Gopalrao is releasing this movie in Telugu on his Jyothi Arts banner.

Srihari, Jeeva, Ravi, Shayaji Shinde et al play important roles in this mass entertainer.
