Hero Manchu Manoj who is on a high after a successful 2010 is now eager to replicate the success this year too. His films 'Jhummandi Naadham', 'Bindaas' and 'Vedam' turned out to be hits last year.

Now he is doing Mr Nokia apart from 'Uukodathara Ulikki Padathara' in his home production. Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

We hear that for the film which is being directed by Anil Krishna for which D S Rao is the producer, Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director. D S Rao made Drona and Kalavar King both of which were big flops. Since Yuvan Shankar Raja's remuneration is high, the producer couldn't afford him for the film. Apparently, Manoj gave Rs 25 lakh from his own remuneration to be paid to Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Besides, Manoj also forewent Rs 10 lakh for the cinematographer Rajasekhar for this project.

At a time when stars are particular about their remuneration and employees too are fighting for hike, Manoj's gesture comes as a major surprise. Paruchuri Brothers are penning the lyrics for this project.

This film recently started its pre-production work with a formal ceremonial pooja.
