Gone are the days when re-recording was taken casually. Today, film makers want to get it all right and perfect. The trend is observed at the moment in the case of at least two films. One, Sri Rama Rajyam. Two, Bodyguard.

From the director and the musician down, everyone wants to make the recording sound authentic and come across as a real experience. Maestro Illayaraja has been engaged in bringing out the best re-recording in Sri Rama Rajyam for a variety of reasons. He feels that Bapu's directorial touch should be elevated through a fitting musical score and that it should be enhanced by getting re-recording immensely spectacular.

Ditto Thaman, who is doing the audio mixing work of the film Ganga - The Bodyguard. He, and the director Gopichand Malineni, want to bring the best output. The same is done in Mumbai, Chennai and London.

With so much at stake in films today, looks like the creators want to show variety and superiority over other films in as many aspects as they can.
