It takes guts to don the greasepaint to play Lord Rama. Taraka Ratna has got just that. In his latest flop Nandeeshwarudu (if you remember), he sported a quirky moustache. Even more funnier was the fact that the film was dubbed by its makers a multi-starrer, for the simple reason because it starred Jagapathi in another 'powerful patra'.

Looks like Tarak is smitten by the experimentation bug. He is all set to don the Purushottama mantle, like his Nandamuri elders have done in the past. He hasn't had a single hit in his decade-old career. So also his director Veeru K, who has come to rest on the laurels brought by Aaro Pranam.

From what the makers have said about their film, it is not clear whether the film is a socio-fantasy or a parody. This much is sure. Tarak is pretty much serious about the role. Krishnudu would be playing Ravana, while Archana is Sita. As if this is not comic enough, Brahmanandam, MS, Krishna Bhagawan and Kondavalasa are part of the cast. Sayaji Shinde is a comedy villain and Suman will be seen as a factionist goonda.
