'Yuva Samrat' Naga Chaitanya, whose 'Thadakha' will be releasing tomorrow, has shared a few words about the movie, his co-stars, his interests, his views on criticism etc in an interview.

Here is the interview

How is Thadakha going to be ? Are you excited at it's release?

'Thadakha' is going to be the best commercial movie in my career. Action part will be the highlight of the movie. But it has also got a very good entertainment. The emotions between brothers and sisters will attract the audience. After watching the first copy, our confidence about the movie has increased.

Are you releasing the movie as a competition to your father's 'Greeku Veerudu' ?

(Laughs) Actually, it has been not planned and it happened so.

What confidence has driven you to act in this movie ?

I have loved the characterization of the hero and I have also strongly believed that Telugu audience will love the point of the movie so much. More over, the script has been adopted very good to the Telugu nativity.

What was your working experience with Sunil ?

Sunil and me move like brothers even off screen. He will be always very encouraging and motivating. He is a very good human being and working with him is a pleasure.

His character in the movie will be very humorous in the first half and it transforms into very serious mode in the second half.

Your previous mass entertainers have not done well at the box office ? What can the audience expect from this movie ?

I could not prove myself in my previous movies. So, I have taken this movie as a challenge to show that I will also fit in action and commercial subjects. I have only done what suits my body language for this movie and I promise a good improvement in all the aspects of my acting.

Director Dolly's first movie 'Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam' was a very class film and Thadakha is completely a mass entertainer ? Why did you hand over the project to him ?

I like the movie 'Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam' so much. Particularly, I like the director's taking and the comedy part in that movie.

Dolly is a director who wants to prove himself in mass movies. He is a big fan of Linguswamy. So he has shown interest in directing this film. We have liked his idea and the references he has shown to us and handed over the project to him. He has handled the subject so well that you can't believe that the movie has been directed by him.

Tell us something about your co-star Thamanna.

Thamanna and me had worked previously for '100% Love' and we have become very comfortable working together for this movie. '100% Love' is an immature love story, in which we both behave very childishly.

But 'Thadakha' is not so and there is a scope for romance and dances in it.

After watching your previous movies, in which aspects did you think you have to improve ?

I generally analyse myself after every movie and it is very important for me to grow as an actor. After watching my previous movies, I thought that I have to improve in a few aspects like my dance and command over Telugu.

Why did you take so much gap after your previous movie ?

Actually the gap has been not intended and it is due to the delay of 'Auto Nagar Surya'.

I feel what I have done is very wrong because, I am in the initial stage of my career and it is not good to take so much gap between movies. I try to make two movies an year from now on.

What about your producer Bellamkonda Suresh ?

Bellamkonda Suresh is a wonderful producer and he has arranged the total cast and crew of the film in a month after the story was finalized. Moreover, he is releasing the movie at the right time for me.

Do you take the opinions of your father and grand father regarding your films ?

I definitely take the opinions of my father and grand father. My father says that he has become successful only because he has freedom of selecting movies himself and leaves the option to myself. Even if he doesn't like the script, he will say that the commitment is up to me.

My grandfather tells his opinions very frankly after watching my movies. He is a very valuable critic for my movies.

Apart from movies, what do you love ?

I love motor racing and I always try to keep fit. I am not interested in packs but if the story demands, I will work out for them.

How do you receive criticism ?

I am always open to criticism and I think only because of it, I have been growing as an actor. Any body can come to me and tell their opinions.

Your father has been encouraging new comers all through his career, regardless of the results of the movies ? Will you do the same ?

I definitely encourage new talent. I have already given chances to three new comers. Though the movies fail, I will continue to encourage them.

Talking about remakes, your father has recently said that it is better not to touch some subjects ? What is your opinion ?

What he has said is correct because some movies will remain as classics and if we try to remake them, some problems like comparisons may arise.

But I think that 'Hello Brother' is a very humorous and good subject. We have thought that it will connect to the present generation and have decided to remake it. But I will not touch movies like 'Shiva' and 'Geethanjali'.

Tell us something about 'Charminar' remake and your family's multi-starrer film.

Charminar is a very good movie and it will be launched very soon

I am very excited at the multi-starrer film in our production. It is such a good subject that, no one will expect the point in it . It will hit the floors in June.
