Kammatipadam recently hit theatres and got rave reviews. But it was an abridged version of a 4- hour- long film. According to concerned sources the film will release soon for those wishing to watch the full-length movie without any cuts.

It was made short to a 2.50 hour film as per the instruction of Censor Board. The short version reached the theatres on May 20 and at the box office it received average collection.

Thought the hero of the movie was Dulquer Salmaan, the charactesr played by Vinayakan and Manikandan Achari steals the show. In an interview director Rajeev Ravi had indicated his plans of releasing the 4-hour-long-film. Now everybody is excited about it and is eagerly waiting to see the complete movie.
