Amidst girls from Kerala making their foray into Kollywood, the producers of Prashanth's next movie Runway have brought a lass from Maharashtra.

According to director Ramesh Selvan, the girl is Ferhana, a former Miss Maharashtra.

‘After a thorough search we managed to find out the girl. She perfectly fits the role we had conceived in the movie'.

The director is quick to say that she would only be playing a significant role while a popular actress would play the heroine.

Runway stars Prashanth in the lead role and is being directed by Ramesh Selvan, who had directed movies like Jananam and Ulavu Thurai before.
