Kasi Theatre in Chennai was buzzing with activity on Monday. The reason because the cast and crew of the movie was there to reward a couple who claimed that they were separated after their marriage and re-united only after watching Mercury Pookal.

The movie featuring Srikanth and Meera Jasmine was about the struggles of a husband and wife in coming together for they have different ideologies and face opposition from their parents.

The couple claimed that they saw the movie and influenced by its theme have decided to bury their differences and get along with their lives together. The producer of the movie was present at the theatre to honor the couple.
