Appearing on the talk show 'Nijam With Smita' (streaming on SonyLiv), Megastar Chiranjeevi has shared something interesting from his childhood.

When he was studying Class X or so, a rehearsal was going on in his school's craft room. A child who was rehearsing for a part couldn't get his dialogue right. The trainer lost his cool and threatened the boy by holding a stick in his hand. Chiranjeevi, who was noticing everything by peeking through the window, couldn't resist his laugh. As he laughed, the trainer got angry.

The trainer shouted for Chiru to walk in and playact the scene. "He asked me if I thought acting was a joke or something. Since I had listened to the dialogue four or five times, it was already there in my head. I immediately mouthed the line without difficulty. That impressed the trainer and he asked me to play the part on the stage. That's how my interest in acting began during a phase when I didn't know what I wanted to do in the future," said Chiru.

This reminds one of a similar incident in 'Khadgam', in which Ravi Teja's character, a junior artist, mouths a monologue much better than the experienced actor playing it in a movie. The scene remains special because of its fun value. But director Krishna Vamsi might well have been inspired by the anecdotes he has listened to in real life.
