India`s first music director to win a double Oscar, A. R. Rahman remains in contention for the much coveted statuette again as his original score and song Ginga` from Pele – The Birth of a Legend` is in the long list of 91 tunes selected this year.

A.R. Rahman received the Oscar for Best Original Score and Best Original Song for Jai Ho` in Danny Boyle`s Slumdog Millionaire`. We wish the Mozart of Madras the very best for repeating History again.
