The following is a mini analysis of Thala Ajith's career graph in recent years, and what's expected out of Viswasam for the dieahard fans of the actor. Most importantly, this is penned by a fan of Vijay, wishing Ajith and fans, good luck for Viswasam releasing tomorrow!

Over the last 3 years, the fans of Ajith have only one question. When will he take a break from Director Siva and give them an all new combo. Not that all 3 movies with Director Siva have bombed at the box office or they are substandard products. It is just that it did not suffice the time that Ajith invested his time on those projects.

The word ‘festival entertainer’ is the most absurd thing that one can come up for films. Only in Indian cinema, we got this tag going given to commercial films. Both ‘Veeram’ and ‘Vedhalam’ carried that tag and they made profits. In order to step away from the routine, Siva came up with ‘Vivegam’ and the first look to teaser to the trailer to songs…everything about that was jaw-dropping. But, eventually, the story fell flat, because of too much of hero-worship by the villain himself. It is surprising to see an actor like Ajith who got away with fan clubs, which is a gutsy thing to do in Tamil scene, and still encourage the makers to have tiring, MGR-esque formula to blend with.

Let me break the ice here. This article is written by a Vijay fan, who is annoyed with the scripts that Vijay do too. But, given the teams Vijay gel with, and the time he takes to finish projects which are a little faster than Ajith, the fans can quickly move from one disaster to another average product. Given the one-dimensional storylines that Ajith chooses, his fans are not giving up at all. It is an open secret that ‘Viswasam’ is getting ready as a project to make up the loss incurred for ‘Vivegam’ and the title has been neatly picked too.

The bottom line is, not only Ajith, every single actor, starting from the Superstar Rajinikanth to the new entrants, they are stars because of their fans and cinema lovers. Ajith has shown his ‘Viswasam’ to his producers and Director Siva, and the project looks sleek with the trailer released right in time to up the ante. There had been an announcement that Ajith will be acting under H. Vinoth for ‘Pink’ remake and there will be another true tale from the same director thereafter.

Ajith is extremely important to the trade. His inactiveness kills the enthusiasm. He still commands the best opener tag, and one should not be surprised if ‘Viswasam’ overtakes ‘Petta’ in Tamilnadu. That will happen because of the demand-supply that Ajith has created for his fans. Yes, agreed that he is extremely private, does not like to involve what is the kind of emotions that his fans are going through, but he should be understanding that he’s someone who has given quality products in the past.

More than the ‘Mankatha’, ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ portrayed Ajith in proper proportions. It was one movie that even his rival fans would agree that their star should act in those kind of movies. On a comparative scale, after 50 movies, Vijay has something to vouch about, ‘Kaavalan’, ‘Nanban’, ‘Thuppakki’, ‘Kaththi’, ‘Their’, and ‘Mersal’. But, even taking, ‘Veram’ and ‘Vedhalam’ into consideration there is not much to talk beyond one fine performance in ‘Yennai Arindhaal’.

The competition has to be tight and stiff. I guess ‘Viswaasam’ will bring back all the flavours that were put under rest during ‘Attakasam’ period.

May the fans of Ajith, will shower the ‘Viswaasam’ with happy faces going forward.

Like you said in the trailer, “Long Live-u, Happy Life-u” let's do that in action!
