Aamir Khan's father Tahir Hussain reported to have died of a massive heart attack Tuesday morning. According to family sources, Hussain died at Aamir's residence in Bandra.

Aamir and his wife Kiran, who are in the US for the Sundance Film Festival, are said to be taking the first flight home. Hussain's grandson and actor Imran Khan is currently in New Zealand and will also be coming back.

Tahir Hussain is survived by his wife, sons Aamir and Faisal, and two daughters, Farhat and Nikhat.

Hussain is noted for his successful productions like Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993) featuring son Aamir, Dulha Bikta Hai (1982), Zakhmee (1975), Anamika (1973) and Caravan (1971). In 1990, he made his directorial debut with Tum Mere Ho with Aamir and Juhi Chawla.

'Leader' to come on Feb 11

Finally, Leader's release date has been confirmed by the makers themselves. At a press briefing held at the Taj Banjara on Monday, Shekar Kammula said that they were planning to release the film on the 11th of February. A student Ram Reddy, who hails from the Karim Nagar region, has claimed Adhurs' story to be his own. He approached the members of Joint Action Committe at Osmania University and complained that he had narrated the story to Junior NTR on the 15th of June, 2008.
