'Abhimanyudu', starring Vishal, Arjun and Samantha Akkineni, has turned out to be a hit in the Telugu States. Released on June 1, the thriller has held its own like few dubbed movies in recent times.

As per some trade sources, in the first weekend, it has earned Rs. 2,88,74,500 in Gross terms. In Ceeded, it has made Rs. 68,43,750. In Vizag, it has clocked Rs. 75,46,750. In Guntur, it's Rs. 53,46,500, in Krishna it's Rs. 56,71,400, in Nellore, it's Rs. 27,84,540, In West Godavari, it's Rs. 25,32,000. In East Godavari, it's Rs. 39,47,500.

The total gross till the end of Sunday is Rs. 6,35,47,140.

Directed by PS Mithran, the Tamil version 'Irumbu Thirai' has made Rs. 5 crores in Gross in just Chennai city.
