This veteran to release 'Mersal' in Chennai

Thalapathy Vijay;s 'Mersal' is getting ready to hit the screens for the Diwali festival falling in the month of October 2017. Within more than a month away for release, the makers have apparently started the distribution business.

It seems the first area to be sold out is the Chennai City theatrical rights. Sources reveal that veteran film distributor, theater owner and producer Abirami Ramanathan has acquired the Chennai theatrical rights of 'Mersal' from producer Thenandal Studios Limited.

This news also confirms that the makers are on schedule to release the film for the Diwali festival falling on October 18, 2017.

So it is going to be a grand 'Mersal' Diwali for Vijay fans and Tamil movie buffs.
