Karthi is one of the few actors in South Indian cinema who is adept in playing out and out commercial heroes as well as balancing it with meaningful roles as well. He recently tasted huge success with both 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' directed by H. Vinod and 'Kaithi' directed by Lokesh Kangaraj.

Karthi has shared a throwback pic shot during his college days when he used to travel with his friends in the government Pallavan bus. He has captioned the photo "Pallavan, the trustworthy friend for Chennai people! My college days were spent more in the bus :)". How many of you can spot the young and vibrant Karthi who stood out of the crowd even in his younger days.

Karthi's next movie 'Sulthan' costarring Rashmika Mandanna is all set to hit the screens worldwide in April this year. He is currently shooting for Mani Rathnam's dream project 'Ponniyin Selvan' costarring Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha and Jayaram among others.
