A Whatsapp message from an unknown source is doing the rounds stating that Parthiban has abandoned his 85 year old mother who is suffering in poverty. The message also says that the veteran actor-director is living the life of a cowboy and his daughter lives alone in his house with a couple of maids.

Parthiban has rubbished this as rumors suspecting that it is a political vendetta for his viral video in which he advised people to exercise their votes and if they did not like any of the candidates to at least press Notto. He added that his mother watched the television news regarding these false claims at his farm house and was very upset and angry but he consoled her and finished his statement saying that his mother knows how well he takes care of her and that is enough for him.
