The latest development on the actress abduction case is that the Kerala High Court on Wednesday expressed displeasure over the delay in concluding the case, which is more than six months old now. Justice P Ubaid criticised the police saying why the probe was going on like an endless film script.

The court pointed out that the incident happened on February 17 and the investigation immediately in the same month and is still continuing. The director general of prosecutions submitted that the investigation into the case would be completed in two weeks.

On September 7, Nadirshah had moved the court seeking anticipatory bail. The actor-director had approached the court with the petition that the investigating team probing the case was threatening to book him in the case. The court made the observation while considering his anticipatory bail application and has asked Nadirshah to appear before the police on Friday for interrogation and cooperate with them. Nadirshah was previously interrogated along with Dileep by the investigation team in June for over 13 hours.

Meanwhile, Dileep, who was arrested in the case, is in judicial custody. The actor has applied a fresh bail at the Angamaly Court today after being denied by the court three times before.
