"Surrogacy Is Banned In India" - Popular actress' shocking statement after Nayan and Vicky became Appa and Amma

Director Vignesh Shivan took the internet by storm after announcing the birth of his twin babies with Nayanthara. It was reported that the twins were born via surrogacy but neither of the new parents has opened up about the same. Now, popular actress, Kasthuri has put out a statement on her Twitter calling which indirectly calls out Nayan and Vicky.

“Surrogacy is banned in India except for medically inevitable reasons. This is the law from Jan 2022. We are going to be hearing a lot about this for the next several days” she said in her tweet.

Reacting to those who said that she shouldn’t be commenting on the personal lives of others, the actress said “To all those telling me to mind my business, as someone who qualified to be a lawyer, I am certain legal analysis counts. And unlike the issue being discussed, my views are given completely altruistically, non commercially and after more than five years of being eligible”

Vignesh Shivan yesterday took to his Twitter sharing photos of himself and his wife kissing the feet of their children ""Nayan & Me have become Amma & Appa...We are blessed with twin baby Boys...All Our prayers,our ancestors’ blessings combined wit all the good manifestations made, have come 2gethr in the form Of 2 blessed babies for us Need all ur blessings for our Uyir & Ulagam".

In addition to this, it is also health minister M. Subramaniyam was also questioned about the legality of Nayanthara's childbirth. He later informed that an inquiry will be made to the Lady Superstar to confirm if she used the proper guidelines to give birth through a surrogate mother.
