Actress Nila who made her acting debut in Tamil opposite S.J. Suryah is also famous for her leading roles in 'Jambavan' and 'Marudhamalai'. The Mumbai based actress whose real name is Meera Chopra is in the middle of a huge controversy as fans of Telugu superstar Junior NTR have meted out rape threats to her and her family members. The 'Section 375' star has filed a case in the Cyber Crime department of Hyderabad police for action.

Apparently Meera had expressed her liking towards another Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu which irked NTR's fans and this has started a barrage of unruly cyberbullying that has put the Thala Thalapathy fans to shame..

Meera has tweeted tagging Junior NTR "Well i did not know that not being somebody's fan was a crime.. i want to say this loud to all the girls that if you are not a fan of @tarak9999 u could be raped, murdered, gangraped, ur parents could be killed as tweeted by his fans. Meera has updated "Just want to inform everybody who supported me, complaint has been filed against all the abusive tweets. Ntr fans cannot cyber bully any woman. Popular singer and Me Too activist Chinmayi too came in support of her and advised her on the legalities.
