Actress Nia Sharma celebrated Diwali by attending a function and unexpectedly her skirt caught fire but she escaped due to the silver pieces attached to her fabric that prevented the fire from spreading fast on her body. The 'Jamaai Raja' leading lady has shared on Instagram "The power of a diya. Caught fire in a second! I got saved by the layers in my outfit or may be some force that guards you and protects you."

Nia Sharma did not let the incident deter her as she continued to dance in the party along with singer Guru Randhawa. The 29 year old has signed on to play the lead in Ekta Kapoor's 'Naagin 4' and she has gushed ""I am expecting my career to rocket to the moon and for me to become the most popular actor there is,"
