Pooja Hegde debuted as an actress in Tamil opposite Jiiva in the 2012 film 'Mugamoodi' directed by Mysskin. Though the film was a flop the tall and attractive actress found stardom in Telugu films and later forayed into Bollywood through 'Mohenjadaro' costarring Hrithik Roshan.

Pooja recently starred in several super hit movies including 'Aala Vaikunthapuramlu' and also made a comeback to Tamil cinema with Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures.

On the personal front so far Pooja has remained single but rumours have started spreading in Bollywood and Tollywood that she is dating superstar Salman Khan who is 24 years her senior. The news shocked fans who have been criticizing the actress on social media.

However it has come to light that the news was spread by a self proclaimed film critic who wrote on Twitter "“BREAKING NEWS : New Couple in Town !!! Mega Star #SalmanKhan fell in love with #PoojaHegde !! His production house also signed her for next 2 films !! They are spending time together now a days !! Confirmed by Salman Khan close sources, sic."

Salman and Pooja are starring together in the new movie ' Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan' and have been shooting nonstop for it. Sallu Bhai has been linked with many of his costars before including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif. But no one is believing this time as the source is unreliable.
