Actress Raghavi recalls painful memories of her husband's shocking death

Actress Raghavi started her acting career as a child artiste and later played prominent roles in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Raja Chinna Roja' and Thalapathy Vijay's 'Once More'. She later acted in many television serials and fell in love with and married cinematographer Sasikumar. The couple has a daughter and after thirteen years of marriage, Sasikumar was found hanging under a tree near the Jolarpet railway station in 2019.

Sasikumar is said to have run into financial difficulties and was under stress and on top of that a coworker Mahesh is said to have alleged on WhatsApp groups that he had stolen a camera from the sets. Although the authorities have not established whether this is a case of suicide or murder, it is claimed that Sasikumar took the drastic step after he was heartbroken due to false allegations.

Raghavi who was in deep grief for the past couple of years has finally pulled herself up and has started working in serails again. She has stated in an interview that her daughter is the reason for her comeback and that she has fond memories of her husband.

Raghavi has said with a lot of pain that she did the last rites of her husband and was initially very angry with him that he did not share what was troubling him as she would have done everything in her power to rescue him.

The talented actress also hoped that the persons behind the death of Sasikumar will one day face justice but for now she wanted to be a positive influence on her daughter and will bring her up as a sportswoman which was the dream of her husband.

Raghavi is currently playing prominent roles in the serials 'Magarasi' and 'Endrendrum Punnagai' and is also in talks for few more shows and films as well.
