Samantha, Chennai's own girl from Pallavaram is super busy with her Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film and other media commitments. Right now she is shooting for the last schedule of her Tamil romance comedy 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan. She has Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara as her costars.

Sam as she is fondly called by her friends and fans is married to Telugu hero Naga Chaitanya the eldest son of superstar Nagarjuna. The couple met during the shooting of the stylish actress's debut film ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ ('Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya' in Tamil) directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.

Samantha recently changed her social media profile name from Samantha Akkineni to simply S and her user name as Samantha Prabhu. It is said that she did it for her mega Telugu epic film 'Shaakuntalam' but inevitably triggered rumours that all is not well between her and her hubby.

Tabloids have gone to the extent of even suggesting that divorce is on the cards but the 'Super Deluxe' star did not react to it. Now in her own style she has given a strong but silent reply to the rumour mongers.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya recently bought a huge piece of land in Goa and have started the process of building a modern farmhouse there. It is said that a special architect is in charge of the whole thing to build a unique property near the beach that would serve as a go to place to chill for the star couple.

The sources add that the new house warming ceremony will be held sometime in the latter part of 2022 and rest assured that adorable moments of Chay and Sam will be shared to fans from there.
