Actress lodges complaint against Meera Mitun alleging acid attack and death threat

Actress Meera Mitun who gained some popularity after participating in the 'Bigg Boss 3' reality show hosted by Kamal Haasan has been desperately trying to gain media attention for the past week or so.  She has been accusing Suriya and Vijay among others of nepotism and has even made the delusional claim that the superstars are trying to copy her and are working to diminish her fame.

Actress Shalu Shammu who has acted in 'Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam' and 'Thamizhukku Enn Onrai Azhuthavum' has approached the Chennai Police Commissioner with a complaint against Meera Mitun.

After lodging her complaint Shami spoke to the media stating that she had condemned Meera Mitun for her derogatory statements against Vijay, Suriya and their families.  She further added that Meera has been speaking abusively about her on social media and her supporters are making anonymous calls to her.

According to Shalu Shammu, Meera Mitun's supporters have not only meted out acid attack and death threats to her but also have shared her photographs in illegal post abusive trolls on her.  She has also claimed that Meera Mitun has vowed to end her film career.

Shalu Shammu has sought legal action against Meera with the police and has also forwarded complaints to the Nadigar Sangam.
