Actress Sona who has been acting in sleazy roles in mainstream Tamil films and also appeared in a few B grade Tamil films has announced that henceforth she will not act in glamorous roles and would never resort to skin show. Hereafter Sona will accept only decent character roles and has requested script writers and directors to keep her in mind when they write a strong female character roles.

Sona has acted in 75 films including the Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Kuselan` in which she appeared as a glamorous wife of comedy king Vadivelu. He debut film in Tamil was Ajith-Jyothika starrer super hit film Poovellam Un Vasam` and in that film she appeared in a minor role without scope for glamour. Only in the later years Sona resorted to glamour roles.
