Filmmaker Om Raut's ambitious mythological film 'Adipurush' has faced lot of hurdles during its production. The film, which stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon in primary roles, was delayed several times due to the pandemic and according to latest developments, its release has been postponed yet again.

On the ocassion of Maha Shivaratri, Prabhas took to Instagram to share a new poster of the film which featured the release date as 12th of January 2023. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, 'Adipurush' is a cinematic adaption of the Hindu mythological epic Ramayan. It will star Prabhas in the role of Lord Ram while Saif Ali Khan will portray the antagonist Lankesh. Kriti Sanon will play the part of Goddess Jaanki.
