Sathyaraj may well be on his way to portray another memorable role after Baahubali's Kattappa in the epic fantasy film 'Kaaliyan' (Malayalam). Ever since the film's Motion Poster was recently released, expectations from the movie have increased in Kerala.

Since the 'Baahubali' actor has a "prominent role" in this one, hopes are high as usual.

Prithviraj is starring as Kunchirakkottu Kaali in this ambitious project, which is about a warrior in the Venad area in Malabar during the pre-independence era. The film will be directed by S Mahesh and has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, whereas the screenplay is by BT Anil Kumar. Prithviraj and Sathyaraj have shared the screen 11 years ago in a Tamil film.
