Youngster Kathir made his acting debut with the critically acclaimed 'Madhayanaikoottam' which was the maiden production venture of music director G.V.Prakash. Despite the film's commercial failure Kathir got more acting opportunities and he proved is mettle as a performer with his second film 'Kirumi'.

The film which had story written by Manikandan the director of 'Kakka Muttai' was unanimously appreciated by critics and Kathir's acting as a guy next door, police informer in the film was praised by every reviewer.

Now Kathir is acting as an effeminate guy in his next film 'Sigai' and taking such a role at such an early stage of the career proves Karthi's boldness and commitment to the acting profession.

'Sigai' has been written and directed by debutante Jagadish Subu.

Indiaglitz wishes the talented actor a huge success with this new endeavor.
